What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Final-status proposal from Tom Ashdown for the Starter tier: £19,500 annual subscription, no discount, and £25,500 total first-term deal value including the one-off implementation fee. Implementation takes four weeks. It is a proposal, not an executed order form.
What it is: a sales proposal dated 7 Nov 2023, prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, for a Starter build over the CRM, placements pipeline and helpdesk tickets. Stored status is final, but the text is a proposal that leads to a master services agreement and order form.
Commits: nothing binding. It states "The annual subscription is £19,500, invoiced annually in advance on our standard terms" and a four-week implementation, with the nightly refresh complete "by 07:00 your local time on business days".
Unusual: the £25,500 figure is easily misread. The text says it "includes the one-off implementation fee. It is not the annual price."
Not settled: availability percentage, P1 response time and service credit amounts are not stated, as "The detail will sit in the order form." The document does not show whether it was accepted, signed or later repriced.

Body
Hollins Tarrant - Proposal
Prepared by: Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, B-Brain Date: 7 Nov 2023 Status: Final
Context
Hollins Tarrant is a Bristol recruitment firm placing engineering and professional staff across the South West. Today the picture of a client sits in several places: the account record and the placements pipeline in your CRM, and client-facing conversations in the helpdesk. Pulling those together for a single client means a fair amount of manual reconciling, and that is the problem this proposal is meant to solve.
What we propose
We propose the B-Brain Starter tier: one AI-queryable layer over your client accounts, your placements pipeline and your client-facing tickets, built and run inside your own Snowflake account so your data stays where it is.
Starter is designed for one team and covers:
- pages, chat and search across the connected sources
- the Starter user allowance and the Starter connector allowance
- a six-monthly check-in with your customer success manager, Marcus Bell
We would connect your CRM and your helpdesk first, then look at what else is worth adding within the Starter connector allowance.
Implementation
Read the whole document (2,627 characters)
Implementation is a fixed-fee, one-off piece of work that takes four weeks. In that time we connect the sources, map the fields and get the first nightly refresh to land cleanly. We will ask for connector credentials in writing before the work starts, so the four weeks are spent building rather than waiting.
After go-live the nightly refresh completes by 07:00 your local time on business days.
Pricing
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Annual subscription, Starter | £19,500 |
| Discount | None |
| Total deal value for the first term, including the one-off implementation fee | £25,500 |
The annual subscription is £19,500, invoiced annually in advance on our standard terms. The figure of £25,500 is the total value of the deal for the first term, and it includes the one-off implementation fee. It is not the annual price.
Service levels
Starter carries the standard Starter service levels for availability and first response to priority issues, with service credits for availability only. The detail will sit in the order form.
Next steps
- Review this proposal with your team and send Tom any questions on scope or pricing.
- If you are happy, we prepare the master services agreement and the order form for signature.
- We agree a start date for implementation and the access we need from your side.
No drama if you want to change anything: it is easier to adjust scope now than after the build starts.
Best, Tom
