Draft Starter-tier proposal from Tom Ashdown dated 2 Nov 2023. Annual subscription £19,500 per year billed annually in advance; £25,500 is the first-year total including one-off implementation, not an annual price. Prices still to be confirmed before issue.

What it is: a draft proposal from Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, for the Starter tier inside Hollins Tarrant's own Snowflake account. It covers client accounts, the placements pipeline and client-facing tickets as sources.

Commits: nothing binding. It states an annual subscription of £19,500, "Per year, billed annually in advance", and an implementation of about four weeks as a fixed-fee, one-off. The £25,500 is "the total value of the deal for the first year" and "is not an annual price".

Unusual: the document says plainly that two figures must not be confused. It also gives no connector delivery dates, availability figure or P1 response time.

Not settled: "Prices to be confirmed by Tom before this is issued." The start date and connector order are open. It is a proposal, not an order form, and the executed order form decides contracted price and terms.

Body

Hollins Tarrant - Proposal v1

Draft. Prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, B-Brain. Dated 2 Nov 2023.

Context

Hollins Tarrant is a Bristol recruitment firm placing engineering and professional staff across the South West. Today the consultants look at client accounts in one place, the placements pipeline in the CRM, and client-facing tickets in the helpdesk, and none of them lines up with the others without some manual effort.

This proposal sets out how the company brain would put those three views in one place.

Scope

B-Brain proposes the Starter tier, built and run inside Hollins Tarrant's own Snowflake account.

  • One team using the brain: pages, chat and search.
  • Client accounts, the placements pipeline and client-facing tickets connected as sources. Starter allows four connectors, which is enough for this scope.
  • The Starter user allowance, with additional users available as an add-on if more consultants want access.
  • A six-monthly check-in with the B-Brain customer success manager, Marcus Bell.

Implementation

Read the whole document (2,190 characters)

A fixed-fee, one-off implementation of about four weeks. B-Brain connects the sources, checks that the placements data reads correctly and shows the first users how to ask the brain.

Annual subscription, StarterPer year, billed annually in advance£19,500
Implementation, StarterOne-off, fixed feeIncluded in the total below
Total deal value, including the one-off implementation feeSubscription plus implementation£25,500

To be clear about how those two figures relate: £25,500 is the total value of the deal for the first year and includes the one-off implementation fee. It is not an annual price. The annual subscription is £19,500, billed annually in advance. The balance is the implementation fee.

Open points

  • Prices to be confirmed by Tom before this is issued.
  • Start date and the order of the connectors to be agreed with Hollins Tarrant.

Next steps

  • Hollins Tarrant reviews this draft and sends questions.
  • B-Brain issues a final proposal.
  • B-Brain then prepares the order form under the master services agreement.
