Current to 10 Oct 26Callum Reid agreed to a check-in and said more underwriters now ask the brain directly. He wants reliable daily dashboards and faster answers to syndicate oversight questions, and flagged gaps on claims tickets.
Ask: Daniel Okafor asked for half an hour to hear how the team finds the brain. Callum wants the agenda list first and a time proposed by Wednesday, afternoons preferred.
Customer view: Callum sees rising usage as a good outcome. His priorities are dashboards that are right every day and a quicker route to capacity-provider answers.
Next: The claims ticket gaps are unspecified in the thread and need to be pinned down before the call.

- Daniel Okafor 11 Jul 2025 10:02Hello Callum, I hope the week has been kind to you. Thank you again for making time at the end of last quarter; it was good to hear how the team has been getting on with the brain. Just to close the loop on a couple of things, and to put a short check-in in the diary, I wondered whether you might have half an hour in the next week or so. Nothing heavy. I'd like to hear how your underwriters are finding it day to day, and what the capacity providers' oversight questions have been like lately, because that is where I think the brain earns its keep for you. From what I can see, usage has been climbing steadily and you are comfortably inside your licensed users, which is a good place to be. I'd like to understand what is driving that, and whether anything is still taking your team longer than it should, particularly around the morning refresh and the bordereaux views. If it helps, I can send over a short list of the things I'd like to cover beforehand, so we spend the time on what matters to you rather than on my agenda. How is the team finding it, in general terms? Even a line back would be a useful start. Best wishes, Daniel
- Callum Reid 14 Jul 2025 14:00Daniel, Yes, happy to do a check-in. Afternoons work best, mornings are taken up with submissions. What I need is a clear view on two things. First, that the dashboards are right when the team sits down, every day. Second, a quicker way to pull together the answers for the syndicates when they come with oversight questions. That's a capacity-provider question and it eats my team's week if we get it wrong. Usage is up because more of the underwriters have started asking the brain directly rather than coming to my team. Good outcome for me. Still a few gaps on claims tickets that I'd like you to look at. Send the list ahead of the call. Midweek suits. Come back to me with a time by Wednesday and I'll hold the slot.
