What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Niamh Costello agrees to a demo on Ardcarne's own data and names three broker-firm questions. She wants a written description of data access sent first so her CISO is comfortable before the demo.
Ask: Matteo Ricci proposed a demo on Ardcarne's own data and asked for two or three questions and the systems behind them. Niamh gave three: which broker firms both teams deal with, what each has asked recently, and where records of a firm disagree.
Customer view: she backs own-data demos as the way to convince colleagues, but makes CISO comfort a condition of going further. She also wants the audience kept small.
Next: Matteo owes her the written access description ahead of the demo. She suggested Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon of the following week.

I have written up what I heard and I will send it separately, but the short version is this: one view of each broker firm, shared by distribution and customer service, built in a way your regulator would be comfortable with. The next step I would propose is a demo, and I would like to run it on a sample of your own data rather than ours, so you see the brain answering questions you actually ask. For that I need two things from you: which two or three questions about broker firms you would most like answered, and which systems hold the data behind them, for example your CRM or the helpdesk. I would rather you heard it from me early: running on your own data means your security team will want to know how we handle access, and I would prefer to answer that before the demo, not after. Could you suggest a couple of slots for next week? I will fit around you. Best regards, Matteo Matteo Ricci Account Executive, BB-Demo
- Niamh Costello 18 Feb 2026 15:35Hi Matteo, Apologies for the slow reply, it has been a heavy few days. I like the idea of using our own data. It is the only way my colleagues will believe it. The three questions I would start with are: which broker firms we deal with across both teams, what each of them has asked us recently, and where our records of a firm disagree. Let's not try to cover more than that. On timing, Tuesday or Wednesday of next week would suit, in the afternoon. Please keep the demo to the people who need to see it. I will bring my colleague from the data office again. On access, I have mentioned it to my CISO and he would like the written description first. Please send that to me ahead of the demo and I will pass it on. I do need him comfortable before we go further, so I would rather not skip that step.
