What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26Marcus Bell issued the formal renewal notice for the Starter term ending 3 Jan 2026. Rob Ellery, the managing director, asked what the team has used the brain for before deciding. Marcus promised a one-page summary.
Ask: Rob Ellery wants a few lines on what the brain has been used for this year before he speaks to Jenna Price and comes back.
Customer view: he says he watches every subscription, so he is testing value rather than rejecting the renewal.
Next: Marcus promised the summary by the end of the following week, with Tom Ashdown to pick up paperwork and a target of 22 Dec 2025.

- Marcus Bell 3 Oct 2025 12:37Hi Rob, A quick note to say your current term ends on 3 Jan 2026, so this is your formal renewal notice. Where things stand: - Starter tier, same licensed users as now - Tom is copied and will sort the order form with you - I'd like to go through what the team has actually been getting from the brain before you decide Shall we book half an hour with you and Jenna? I can find a slot that suits. Thanks, Marcus
- Rob Ellery 6 Oct 2025 08:39Marcus, Thanks for the heads up. To be straight with you, I watch every subscription we pay for, so I'll want to know what we'd be paying for. Can you send over a few lines on what we've used it for this year? Then I'll speak to Jenna and come back to you. Rob
- Marcus Bell 9 Oct 2025 08:44Hi Rob, Sure, I've pulled the numbers and I'll send a one-page summary of how the brain's been used over the year, with the main questions your team asks. You'll have it before the end of next week. Tom will pick up the renewal paperwork once you and Jenna have had a look. The target is to have it wrapped up by 22 Dec 2025, well ahead of the end of the term. Thanks, Marcus
