Current to 10 Oct 26Logistical thread. Tom Ashdown asks Joost Verbeek for a proposal walkthrough. Joost asks to receive the document before the call and sets a Tuesday start no earlier than 11:00. Tom commits to send it and books Tuesday at 11:30.
Ask: Tom wanted forty-five minutes to walk Joost through the proposal before he takes it to his director. Joost declined Monday and set conditions.
Customer view: Joost wants to read the proposal beforehand, not for the first time during the call. He is methodical and expects B-Brain to meet what it promises.
Next: Tom owes the proposal document the same day, ahead of the Tuesday 11:30 call.

- Tom Ashdown 30 Oct 2025 11:54Hi Joost, The proposal is nearly ready. I'd rather walk you through it than just send a PDF and hope, so can we find forty-five minutes early next week? That gives you a chance to ask what you like before you take it to your director. I can do Monday or Tuesday, any time that suits. Best, Tom
- Joost Verbeek 30 Oct 2025 13:20Tom, Monday is not possible, I am travelling. Tuesday is possible, but not before 11:00. Please send the proposal document before the call, so I can read it. I do not want to read it for the first time while you are talking. Met vriendelijke groet, Joost
- Tom Ashdown 3 Nov 2025 11:44Hi Joost, Tuesday at 11:30 it is, I've sent the invite. The proposal document will be with you before the end of today, so you've got time to read it properly. If you spot anything odd before then, flag it and I'll fix it before we talk. Cheers, Tom
