What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Draft proposal from Priya Raman, issued 26 Apr 2024, recommending the Growth tier at £44,000 a year, with a total first-term deal amount of £56,000 including one-off implementation. Not an offer capable of acceptance. No figures are stated for availability or response times.
What it is: a draft proposal that says "This draft is for discussion and is not yet an offer capable of acceptance." It recommends the Growth tier for underwriting operations working with claims and account management.
Commits: nothing binding. Pricing is shown as £44,000 for the annual subscription, "billed annually in advance", and £56,000 as the total first-term deal amount including the one-off implementation. The text says £56,000 "should not be read as an annual price".
Unusual: service levels are only referred to as "the standard Growth service levels", with no figures. No first-term discount is shown.
Not settled: the sources to connect, whether calls and emails are in scope, connector commitments, the start date and the Fenmoor signatories. Commercial terms are confirmed only in an order form under the MSA, and this document is not that.

Body
Fenmoor Specialty Underwriting - Proposal v1
Draft. Issued on 26 Apr 2024 by Priya Raman, Account Executive, BB-Demo. This draft is for discussion and is not yet an offer capable of acceptance. Commercial terms are confirmed only in an order form under the MSA.
Context
Fenmoor Specialty Underwriting is a City managing general agent writing marine cargo and professional indemnity for Lloyd's syndicates. Your capacity providers ask oversight questions regularly: how submissions are moving, what is outstanding on bordereaux, what is happening on claims, and what your team has actually done with each broker. Today the answers sit in several systems and are put together by hand, usually under time pressure.
You told us you want underwriting operations to answer those questions from one view, quickly and with a trail that shows where the answer came from.
What we propose
BB-Demo would build the company brain for Fenmoor inside your own Snowflake account. It is one AI-queryable layer over the sources your underwriting operations rely on:
Read the whole document (4,514 characters)
- submissions and underwriting activity held in your CRM
- bordereaux queries and the correspondence around them
- claims tickets from the helpdesk
- calls and emails with brokers and capacity providers, where you want them included
Your people then ask questions in plain language, through pages, chat and search, and get answers drawn from your own data, with the source records shown.
Recommended tier: Growth
We recommend the Growth tier. It suits an organisation with several teams that need the same view, which matches underwriting operations working alongside claims and account management.
Growth includes:
- the Growth user allowance and the Growth connector allowance, enough for the sources above with room to add more
- pages, chat and search
- the dashboards builder, so your operations team can build the oversight views your capacity providers expect
- quarterly business reviews, run by your customer success manager, Daniel Okafor, to check usage and value against what you set out to achieve
Growth is delivered with the standard Growth service levels for availability, first response on priority issues and nightly refresh. We will set these out in the order form so nobody has to guess.
Pricing
| Item | Amount | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Growth annual subscription | £44,000 | Recurring each year, billed annually in advance |
| Total deal amount | £56,000 | The annual subscription plus the one-off, fixed-fee implementation |
To be clear about the two numbers: £44,000 is the annual price of the subscription, which recurs each year. £56,000 is the total value of the deal for the first term, which includes the one-off implementation fee. The implementation is not repeated in later years, and £56,000 should not be read as an annual price.
Any first-term discount would be confirmed in writing with a deadline attached. None is shown in this draft.
Implementation approach
Implementation is a fixed-fee engagement. In outline:
- Connect. We connect the agreed sources to the brain inside your Snowflake account. Connectors named in the order form carry a commitment to be live within an agreed number of days.
- Model. We shape the data around submissions, bordereaux and claims so that questions return the answers your team recognises.
- Prove. We run the brain on your own data with the people who answer capacity provider queries today, and tune it against real questions.
- Hand over. We train your users, set up the first dashboards and agree the review rhythm.
What we need from Fenmoor
- a named sponsor on the underwriting operations side
- access for our team to the systems being connected, agreed through your own security process
- two or three people who field oversight questions today, to test the brain with us
Open points in this draft
- the final list of sources to connect in the first phase
- whether calls and emails are in scope from the start or added later
- the connector commitments to be written into the order form
- start date and the people who will sign for Fenmoor
Next steps
To keep momentum, we suggest a short working session this week or next to close the open points above. Once they are settled we will issue a final proposal and, on your agreement, an order form under the MSA. Happy to make this easy: tell us who needs to be in the room and we will fit around them.
Best, Priya
