What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Ed Duckworth reports steady, growing use by the renewals team with no issues. Daniel Okafor floated Growth for operations; Ed will talk to Ravi but made no promises.
What happened: A regular check-in between Daniel Okafor and Ed Duckworth, after the renewal went through earlier this year. Ed reported no problems and said data arrives fresh every morning.
Customer view: More people are asking questions than at the start of the year. A couple of heavy users in renewals are building their own dashboards.
Commercial: Use is confined to the renewals team, and the rest of the business does not know about it yet. Daniel raised Growth, with 40 users and more connectors, for operations; Ed said he would speak to Ravi but promised nothing.
Watch: Value rests on a couple of heavy users in one team, a key-person exposure. The Growth idea is an early lead, not a request.

Transcript
- Daniel Okafor NoneHi Ed. How are you? Just a regular check-in, I wanted to see how things are going.
- Ed Duckworth NoneGood, thanks. Stuff's been steady. The brain's running well, no complaints from the team.
- Daniel Okafor NoneBrilliant. So your renewal came through in June, how has the last few months been?
- Ed Duckworth NoneReally good. More people are asking questions now than at the start of the year. I'd say we're getting more value out of it.
- Daniel Okafor NoneThat's really good to hear. So usage is growing: is that more people using it, or the same people asking more questions?
- Ed Duckworth NoneBoth, I reckon. We've got a couple of heavy users in renewals, and they're asking more complex questions, building their own dashboards and things.
- Daniel Okafor NoneExcellent. That's exactly the trajectory we want to see. Any bumps? Data freshness, performance, anything that's frustrated you?
- Ed Duckworth NoneNo, it's been solid. Occasionally someone asks a question the brain can't parse, but I just rephrase it and it works. No real issues.
- Daniel Okafor NoneGood. And the data, is it staying fresh? Are you noticing it's up to date?
- Ed Duckworth NoneYeah, every morning it's yesterday's calls and client data. That's what we wanted.
- Daniel Okafor NoneBrilliant. So, just to think ahead a bit, are you getting value that you'd want to invest more? More users, more teams?
- Ed Duckworth NoneHonestly, it's all been the renewals team so far. The rest of the business doesn't know about it yet. But for that function, we wouldn't want to be without it now.
- Daniel Okafor NoneThat's great value to have. Could other teams benefit? Claims, operations, anyone?
- Ed Duckworth NoneMaybe operations could use it to see the full picture of a client, calls and claims together, but I haven't pitched it to them. If you think it'd be useful, I could chat to Ravi about it.
- Daniel Okafor NoneThat's worth exploring. Not to push, but Growth would give you forty users and more connectors, so you could add more systems if you needed. It'd give your ops team the space to ask questions too.
- Ed Duckworth NoneI'll have a chat with Ravi. No promises, but it's worth looking at.
- Daniel Okafor NoneBrilliant. No rush, these things tend to grow naturally. So in terms of support, anything you need from us?
- Ed Duckworth NoneNope, we're all good. The brain's doing what we need it to do.
- Daniel Okafor NonePerfect. We've got your contract through 31 May next year, so we'll touch base again before then. But in the meantime, if anything comes up, any questions, any ideas, just get in touch.
- Ed Duckworth NoneWill do. Cheers, Daniel.
- Daniel Okafor NoneBest wishes, Ed. Speak soon.
