What happened: Marcus Bell ran a short check-in with Jenna Price on 12 Apr 2024. Regular users had risen to two or three, mostly consultants working the engineering client accounts.
Customer view: Jenna reported no problems and said one consultant saved a morning. She added that Rob always asks what the firm is getting for it.
Commercial: Starter allows 15 users and a hard limit of 4 connectors, with room on both. Jenna floated a shared mailbox connector, then asked to park it.
Watch: The value case rests on Jenna and a few consultants. Marcus offered an enablement session and a usage summary she can show Rob.

Transcript
- Marcus Bell NoneHello Jenna, can you hear me alright?
- Jenna Price NoneHi Marcus, yes, I can. Sorry, sorry, I'm a couple of minutes late. I got caught on a phone call and then the lift was full.
- Marcus Bell NoneNo problem at all. Good afternoon, anyway. How's the week been?
- Jenna Price NoneBusy. The team's stretched, it's nearly the end of the week and everyone's trying to close things off. But a good sort of busy, I think.
- Marcus Bell NoneGood. Right, I'll share my screen and say what I want to cover. Just a quick check-in, nothing heavy. I've pulled the numbers on usage, then I'd like to hear what's working and what isn't, and then anything you need from us.
- Jenna Price NoneLovely.
- Marcus Bell NoneCan you see that okay? It's the usage page.
- Jenna Price NoneYes, I can see it. A lot of green.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's the idea. So the headline is more people are using it than when we last looked. You've got fifteen licences on Starter and you're nowhere near that, but the number of people logging in has gone up a lot in the last quarter. It's two or three people regularly now, which for where you started is a big jump.
- Jenna Price NoneOh, that's good. I think that's the consultants who work with the engineering clients. A couple of them got into it after I showed them the client accounts page.
- Marcus Bell NoneRight, that's what I was hoping. And is that what they're using it for, the client accounts, or is it more the placements pipeline?
- Jenna Price NoneBit of both, really. They ask it things like which clients have gone quiet, and then they can see the open tickets next to the placements. Before, they'd have had to open three different screens.
- Marcus Bell NoneMm. That's the whole point of it. One place instead of three.
- Jenna Price NoneYeah. Honestly, one of them said it saved her a morning last week. I won't tell you which one, she'll go red.
- Marcus Bell NoneNo, fair enough. Have you had any problems? I can see you've not raised a ticket for a while, which is usually a good sign, but I'd rather ask than assume.
- Jenna Price NoneNo, nothing. It's been quiet. I keep thinking I should be checking things more, but then it just carries on working, so.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's the best outcome, really. The nightly refresh has been landing on time, and the connectors have all been loading. Records are going up steadily, so the data's staying fresh.
- Jenna Price NoneGood. Can I ask, is there a limit on how many connectors we can have? I was wondering about pulling something else in at some point.
- Marcus Bell NoneThere is. On Starter it's four, and that's a hard limit. You're using some of those already, so there's a bit of room. What were you thinking of?
- Jenna Price NoneNot sure yet. Probably the shared mailbox the client team uses. It's only an idea. Can we park that for now? I just want to see how the next few weeks go.
- Marcus Bell NoneOf course. No pressure at all. Just tell me when you want to look at it and we'll see what fits.
- Jenna Price NoneThanks.
- Marcus Bell NoneWhile we're here, shall I do a short session for the consultants who haven't tried it yet? Thirty minutes, over lunch or whenever suits. I'd show them the sort of questions that work well, based on your own data.
- Jenna Price NoneThat would be really useful, actually. People get scared of typing the wrong thing. If somebody they trust says it's fine, they'll try it.
- Marcus Bell NonePerfect. I'll send you a couple of times next week and you can pick one that works for the team.
- Jenna Price NoneSorry for the slow reply in advance. It's the sort of thing that sits in my inbox.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's fine, I'll nudge. And I'll send the usage summary after the call as well, so you've got something to show Rob if he asks.
- Jenna Price NoneHe will, he always does. 'What are we getting for it?' So that's helpful.
- Marcus Bell NoneHappy to help with that. Anything else from your side?
- Jenna Price NoneNo, I don't think so. Oh, sorry, one thing. Does the brain keep the old chat history? Somebody asked me.
- Marcus Bell NoneIt does keep it for each person. I'll double-check the detail and put it in the email so you've got it in writing.
- Jenna Price NoneBrilliant, thank you.
- Marcus Bell NoneRight, I'll let you get back to it. Thanks for making time, Jenna.
- Jenna Price NoneThanks Marcus, speak soon. Bye.
