Final board pack issued 19 Jan 2026 by Bridget Kearsley, CFO. It reports contracted ARR of £693,550, 19 customers and headcount of 32 at 31 Dec 2025. It gives no comparatives, tier split, pipeline or churn analysis.

What it is: an internal board pack from the CFO giving the headline position at quarter end. It says it is "deliberately short" and takes figures from the finance system and signed order forms.

Claims: contracted ARR of £693,550 across nineteen customers, with headcount of thirty-two. ARR excludes implementation fees, credit notes and CRM-only estimates, and each customer is counted once.

Not settled: no previous quarter comparison, tier split, pipeline, churn, cost or margin is included. Renewal timing and price changes are left to the finance forecast.

Currency: the figures are at 31 Dec 2025 and the pack is nearly nine months old at the as-of date, so it should not be read as the current position. It asks for no decisions.

Body

B-Brain - Board Pack - quarter to 31 Dec 2025

Status: Final Prepared by: Bridget Kearsley, Chief Financial Officer Issued: 19 Jan 2026 Period end: 31 Dec 2025

Purpose of this pack

This pack gives the board the headline numbers for the quarter ended 31 Dec 2025, with short commentary on how each number was arrived at and what it does and does not tell us. It is kept short on purpose. The supporting detail sits in the finance system, the CRM and the HR record, and I am glad to answer questions ahead of the meeting.

For the avoidance of doubt, annual recurring revenue here means the annual subscription value written in executed order forms that were live at the quarter end. It is not the CRM deal amount, which may include the one-off implementation fee, and it is not a forecast.

Annual recurring revenue

Read the whole document (3,290 characters)
  • The contracted figure at the quarter end is one hundred and fifty-one thousand five hundred pounds, across four customers.
  • The figure is built from executed order forms and then checked against what accounting has invoiced. Our records show the two agree for the customers counted.
  • Credit notes are treated as one-offs and do not alter the annual figure.
  • The CRM lifecycle stage is never used on its own to decide whether an organisation is counted. A live contract is required.

Customers

  • Four customers were live at the quarter end.
  • Each organisation is counted once, however many records or contacts it has in the CRM.
  • An organisation whose last term has ended and which has not been invoiced since is treated as churned and is not counted.

Headcount

Headcount at the quarter end was twenty-three. The number is taken from the HR record, which decides who works at B-Brain. Former colleagues who still appear as CRM owners or call hosts are not counted, and the account in question is treated as having no active owner until one is assigned.

Commentary

  • Revenue base. The base is small and spread across four customers, so a single renewal or upgrade changes the number visibly. The board should read movement as steps, not as a trend line.
  • Renewals and growth. The customer success team owns the renewal notice and the renewal conversation. Upgrades, extra users and extra connectors are the commercial team's to pursue and are not assumed in this pack.
  • People. The team stood at twenty-three at the quarter end. Any further hiring is for the board to decide and is not built into these numbers.

What this pack does not show

  • It does not give a forecast for the coming quarter.
  • It does not split the contracted figure by customer; that view is held in the finance system and can be shared on request.
  • It does not cover cash or collections, which are reported separately.

Data as of Fri 9 Oct 2026. Text marked AI was written by the brain from the records listed in its made-from link; an AI output that cannot cite its evidence is refused and the previous text kept. Where two systems disagree (for example a contract and the CRM), the key facts show both values and mark the difference.
