What it says
What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26Final board pack from the CFO for the quarter ended 30 Sep 2025. It reports contracted annual recurring revenue of one hundred and fifty-one thousand five hundred pounds, four customers and a headcount of twenty-one. It is an internal position statement, not a forecast.
What it is: an internal board pack prepared by Bridget Kearsley, Chief Financial Officer, issued on 16 Oct 2025 for the period ending 30 Sep 2025. It states the headline numbers and how each was arrived at.
Claims: contracted recurring revenue is built from executed order forms and checked against invoices, and the pack says the two agree for the customers counted. It excludes credit notes and CRM lifecycle stages on their own.
Currency: the position is a year old against the as-of date, and the figures are quarter-end positions only. The brief's later customer and headcount numbers are not reflected here.
Not settled: there is no forecast, no per-customer breakdown and no cash or collections detail. The customer-level view is held in the finance system and available on request.

Body
B-Brain - Board Pack - quarter to 30 Sep 2025
Status: Final Prepared by: Bridget Kearsley, Chief Financial Officer Issued: 16 Oct 2025 Period end: 30 Sep 2025
Purpose of this pack
This pack gives the board the headline numbers for the quarter ended 30 Sep 2025, with short commentary on how each number was arrived at and what it does and does not tell us. It is deliberately brief. Detail sits in the finance system, the CRM and the HR record, and I am happy to take questions on any of it before the meeting.
Headline numbers
| Measure | Position at 30 Sep 2025 |
|---|---|
| Annual recurring revenue (contracted) | one hundred and fifty-one thousand five hundred pounds |
| Customers | four |
| Headcount | twenty-one |
For the avoidance of doubt, annual recurring revenue here means the annual subscription value written in executed order forms that were live at the quarter end. It is not the CRM deal amount, which can include the one-off implementation fee, and it is not a forecast.
Annual recurring revenue
Read the whole document (3,378 characters)
- The contracted figure at the quarter end is one hundred and fifty-one thousand five hundred pounds.
- The number is built from executed order forms and then checked against what accounting has invoiced. Our records show the two agree for the customers counted.
- A credit note, where one has been issued, is treated as a one-off and does not change the annual figure.
- Nothing in this number relies on a CRM lifecycle stage on its own. An organisation is counted only where there is a live contract.
Customers
- Four customers were live at the quarter end.
- Each organisation is counted once, whatever the number of records or contacts it has in the CRM.
- A customer whose contract has ended and who has not been invoiced since is not counted, even if the CRM still shows it as a customer.
Headcount
Headcount at the quarter end was twenty-one. The number is taken from the HR record, which is the authority on who works at B-Brain. A name that still appears as a CRM owner or a call host but has left the business is not counted, and I would be grateful if the commercial team kept those fields tidy so the two views stay aligned.
Commentary
- Revenue base. The contracted base is small and concentrated across four customers, so each renewal and each upgrade moves the figure noticeably. This is the main reason the board should expect the number to move in steps rather than a smooth line.
- Renewals. The customer success team owns the renewal notice and conversation for each account. Renewal dates are tracked against the order forms, not against the CRM.
- People. The team is twenty-one strong at the quarter end. Further hiring is a decision for the board and is not assumed in this pack.
What this pack does not show
- It does not give a forecast for the next quarter.
- It does not break the contracted figure down by customer; that view is held in the finance system and can be circulated on request.
- It does not give cash or collections detail. Those are reported separately.
