What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26BB-Demo's internal Price Book v1, final, issued 23 Oct 2022 and owned by Nell Ashcombe. It sets how tiers, implementation, add-ons, service levels and discounts are priced. It states no figures; the executed order form decides the actual price.
What it is: the internal reference for quoting, proposing and renewing. It is for account executives, customer success managers and finance, and says it "Applies to: all new business, until a later version of this book replaces it".
Commits: no customer. It sets rules: discounts apply to "the first term only", implementation fees "are not discounted to win a deal", and a customer signed under v1 keeps v1 prices until first renewal.
Unusual: it gives no price, availability percentage or response time. Service levels appear only as relative words such as Standard, Higher, Faster and Fastest, and the discount cap is not stated.
Not settled: current list prices. It says a later version replaces it, so it is stale as a live price source and useful mainly as the v1 baseline. The executed order form beats it.

BB-Demo - Price Book v1
Status: Final Issued: 23 Oct 2022 Owner: Nell Ashcombe, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder Applies to: all new business, until a later version of this book replaces it
Purpose of this book
This is the single reference for how BB-Demo prices the company brain. It exists so that everyone who quotes, proposes or renews an account starts from the same list, uses the same words for the same things, and can explain a price in plain terms.
If a customer asks why something costs what it does, the answer should be in this book. If it is not, that is a gap in the book and we fix the book, not the conversation.
How we charge
BB-Demo earns money in two ways, and every quote shows both separately:
- Implementation. A one-off, fixed fee, paid when the customer joins. It covers connecting the customer's systems and building the brain inside the customer's own Snowflake account.
- Subscription. An annual fee for the tier the customer chooses, invoiced in advance. Quarterly invoicing is available on request. Standard payment terms apply.

All prices are in pounds sterling. The executed order form is what decides the price and terms a customer actually pays. This book is the starting point for that order form, not a substitute for it.
Subscription tiers
There are three tiers. A customer picks the tier that matches how widely the brain will be used.
| Tier | Who it is for | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | One team getting its first brain | Pages, chat and search over the connected systems; a six-monthly check-in with our customer success manager |
| Growth | Several teams using the brain together | Everything in Starter, plus the dashboards builder and quarterly business reviews |
| Enterprise | Company-wide use and regulated buyers | Everything in Growth, plus single sign-on and user provisioning, an executive sponsor and security review support |
Each tier carries its own allowance of users and connectors. The user allowance is a soft limit: we will talk to the customer before anything changes. The connector allowance is a hard limit, because every connector is something we build and maintain.
Implementation
Implementation is priced as a fixed fee that rises with the tier, because the work rises with the tier: more teams, more systems, more people to train.
- Starter has the shortest programme and the smallest fee.
- Growth takes longer and covers several teams and a wider set of connectors.
- Enterprise is the longest programme and includes support for the customer's security review.
Where an order form promises a connector, it carries a commitment that the connector will be live within an agreed number of days. We do not promise connectors we have not scoped.
Add-ons
Customers who outgrow their tier allowances, or who need something specific, can add to their subscription:
- Additional users, sold in blocks
- Additional connectors, sold in blocks
- Dedicated data residency in the EU or the US
- An on-site training day
Add-ons are priced on the same basis as the tiers: annual, in advance, and co-terminous with the main subscription so there is one renewal date.
Service levels
Service levels differ by tier and are written into the order form.
| Measure | Starter | Growth | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Availability commitment | Standard | Standard | Higher |
| First response to a priority-one issue | Slowest of the three | Faster | Fastest |
| Nightly refresh complete before the working day | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Service credits | Availability only | Availability only | Availability and data freshness |
Availability and freshness are different things. A brain that answers on stale data was available; only the Enterprise tier is credited for freshness.
Discounts
Discounts are exceptional, not routine.
- A discount applies to the first term only and ends at renewal.
- Discounts are capped, and anything near the cap needs the Chief Executive Officer's approval before it is offered.
- A discount is never given to hide a weak case for value. If the value case is not there, we should fix that first.
- Implementation fees are fixed and are not discounted to win a deal.
Renewals and price changes
The customer success manager owns the renewal conversation and sends notice well ahead of the renewal date. A customer renews at the list price in force for their tier unless the executed order form says otherwise. Because first-term discounts end at renewal, the renewal quote should always show the undiscounted figure next to the discounted one so nobody is surprised.
A customer signed under this version keeps this version's prices until their first renewal. When a later version of the book is issued, the account owner tells affected customers in writing before it takes effect.
Who may change what
| Decision | Owner |
|---|---|
| Commercial terms on a new deal | Account executive |
| Discounts near the cap | Chief Executive Officer |
| Renewal conversation and notice | Customer success manager |
| Changes to this book | Chief Executive Officer |
What this book does not cover
This book does not set out individual customer contracts, bespoke security terms or one-off credits. A credit note is a one-off gesture and never changes a customer's recurring revenue. Those matters live in the order form and the accounting system, and they win over anything written here.
