What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Final proposal from Matteo Ricci, dated 23 Mar 2026, for the Enterprise tier at a proposed value of one hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds. Availability and P1 response are not given as figures; the nightly refresh is complete by 07:00 Irish time.
What it is: a proposal, not a contract, prepared by Matteo Ricci for Ardcarne Life Assurance. It proposes the Enterprise tier with a fixed-fee implementation, run inside Ardcarne's own Snowflake account.
Commits: it states "Proposed value: one hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds", with the split between implementation and subscription left to the order form. The refresh is "Complete by 07:00 Irish time on business days", and credits apply to availability and data freshness.
Unusual: it openly says the customer's security review "ran through the July outage" and that the incident report stays in the review material. It also promises written answers to supervisory and DORA-related questions.
Not settled: availability percentage, P1 response time, connector dates, billing schedule, payment terms and any first-term discount are all deferred to the order form. Matteo writes that he "will not commit to a delivery date that engineering has not agreed".

Body
Ardcarne Life Assurance - Proposal
Prepared for: Ardcarne Life Assurance, Dublin Prepared by: Matteo Ricci, Account Executive, BB-Demo Customer success lead: Elena Novak Date: Monday 23 March 2026 Status: Final
Context
Ardcarne Life Assurance is an Irish life and pensions insurer, supervised by the Central Bank of Ireland and subject to DORA. Broker distribution and customer service both work with the same broker firms, but today each team sees a different slice of the relationship. Information sits in separate systems, and reconciling it by hand takes time that neither team has to spare.
This proposal sets out how BB-Demo would give both teams one view of each broker firm, built and run inside Ardcarne's own Snowflake account, and how we would do it in a way your security and compliance functions can evidence to the regulator.
I would rather you heard it plainly from me: your security review ran through the July outage. We have kept your security team informed throughout, and the incident report remains part of the review material. Nothing in this proposal asks you to set that aside. It is there to be tested.
What you told us you need
Read the whole document (5,881 characters)
- One view of each broker firm that broker distribution and customer service can both rely on.
- Answers to questions about a broker firm without someone assembling them from several systems.
- A deployment that keeps your data inside your own environment and stands up to supervisory scrutiny.
- Clear commitments on availability, support response and data freshness that you can point to in your own oversight of a critical supplier.
What we propose
The Enterprise tier of the BB-Demo company brain, with a fixed-fee implementation. Enterprise is the tier for company-wide and regulated buyers, and it is the one that carries the controls your review has focused on.
Scope
- The brain itself: one AI-queryable layer over the systems your broker teams use, covering CRM, calls, emails, tickets and finance data where you choose to connect them. It supports pages, chat and search, plus the dashboards builder and quarterly business reviews.
- Where it runs: inside your own Snowflake account. Your data is not copied into a BB-Demo environment.
- Identity: single sign-on and SCIM provisioning, so access follows your existing joiner, mover and leaver process.
- Premium support and Sandbox: a named engineer during extended UK hours, from 07:00 to 20:00, and a Sandbox where changes can be tested before they reach production.
- Executive sponsor: a senior BB-Demo sponsor for the relationship, alongside your customer success lead.
- Connectors: the Enterprise connector allowance, with each connector named in the order form carrying a commitment to be live within an agreed number of days.
Implementation
Implementation is a one-off, fixed-fee engagement delivered over the standard Enterprise window, with security review support included. It covers connecting your chosen systems, mapping broker firms across them, configuring access, and training both teams on the brain.
Service levels
The Enterprise tier carries the highest of our standard service levels. The order form will state them in full. In summary:
| Area | Enterprise commitment |
|---|---|
| Availability | The Enterprise availability level, the highest we offer |
| P1 first response | The Enterprise P1 response time, the fastest we offer |
| Nightly data refresh | Complete by 07:00 Irish time on business days |
| Service credits | Apply to availability and to data freshness |
On the last row: availability and freshness are different things. A brain can be available while answering from stale data. Only the Enterprise tier is credited for both, which is why we think it is the right fit for a supervised insurer.
Investment
| Item | Basis | Commercial position |
|---|---|---|
| Enterprise subscription | Annual, billed in advance | Priced at the current Enterprise list price |
| Implementation | One-off, fixed fee | Included in the proposed value below |
| Premium support and Sandbox | Included with Enterprise | No separate charge |
Proposed value: one hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds, for the Enterprise proposal as described above. The order form will show exactly how that value divides between the implementation fee and the subscription, and will state the billing schedule and payment terms.
Any first-term discount would be set out in the order form and applies to the first term only.
Security and regulatory alignment
What does your regulator need to see? We would like to work from that question rather than from a generic checklist. Our approach is:
- Deployment inside your Snowflake account, so you keep control of the data and of the access to it.
- Written answers to your supervisory and DORA-related questions, which I will confirm in writing rather than by phone.
- Support for your third-party risk and exit documentation during implementation.
- Full transparency on incidents. If something affects your service, your security team hears it from us first.
Next steps
- Ardcarne: confirm which systems and which teams are in scope for the first phase.
- Ardcarne: let me know which remaining security or compliance questions need a written answer before an order form is drawn up.
- BB-Demo, Matteo Ricci: prepare the order form under our master agreement once scope is confirmed, including connector commitments agreed with our engineering team.
- BB-Demo, Elena Novak: introduce the implementation lead and agree a start plan with your broker distribution and customer service leads.
I will not commit to a delivery date that engineering has not agreed. Once scope is settled I will confirm the timeline with you in writing.
Best regards, Matteo
Matteo Ricci Account Executive, BB-Demo
