What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26On 24 Mar 2023 Brindlecote described manual pulls from four or five systems during renewal season. Nell Ashcombe pitched Starter at £6,000 plus £19,500 a year. The customer wants to see it on its own data first.
What happened: Nell Ashcombe ran a discovery call on 24 Mar 2023 with Ed Duckworth, Head of Insight, and Ravi Atherton, Chief Operating Officer.
Customer view: Client data sits across the CRM, claims and recorded calls, and renewal season means manual pulls several times a week. Ravi named lost renewals as the cost of missing a signal.
Commercial: Nell quoted the Starter tier at £6,000 one-time for implementation, then £19,500 a year, with go-live four weeks from signing. Ed said he would not commit to numbers before seeing it run on Brindlecote's actual data.
Watch: The evidence does not show whether the sample data was sent, the demo held or an order form signed. Ravi asked about cost and timing, so he is the likely signing voice.

Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Nell Ashcombe sends the data sample specification and proposes demo dates.
- Ed Duckworth sends two or three weeks of calls and a client list for the demo.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Ed Duckworth wants proof on Brindlecote's own data before discussing numbers, so the price is not yet accepted.
- The evidence does not show whether the demo or a signature followed.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- A Starter subscription with a four-week implementation fits a single insight and operations team.
- A renewal-risk question answered on their own data speaks directly to the lost-renewal pain Ravi Atherton named.

- Nell Ashcombe NoneGood morning, both. Thanks for the time. We're recording okay?
- Ed Duckworth NoneYeah, that's fine. How are you?
- Ravi Atherton NoneGood, cheers. Let's crack on.
- Nell Ashcombe NoneSo I want to understand what you're solving for. Ed, you're on the insight side, Ravi you're ops, what's the one thing that's frustrating right now?
- Ed Duckworth NoneWe're an insurance broker, so we live and die by renewals. The problem is all our data's scattered: client contact in the CRM, claims in one system, calls we've recorded sitting somewhere else. When we need to see the full picture of a client, we're manually pulling from four or five places.
- Ravi Atherton NoneAnd it's slow. We should know this stuff about our clients, but instead we're copying and pasting.
- Nell Ashcombe NoneHow often does that happen, the manual pulling?
- Ed Duckworth NoneFew times a week in renewal season, which is heavy for us. And it's error-prone. I'd rather we could just ask one system, is there a risk with this client, and get an answer.
- Nell Ashcombe NoneWhat's the cost if you miss something? If you don't see a signal in time?
- Ravi Atherton NoneLost renewals. We work with Yorkshire SMEs, they expect us to know them. If we lose a client because we didn't join up the dots, that's expensive.
- Nell Ashcombe NoneRight. So what we do is build a queryable layer over your existing systems: your CRM, your calls, whatever. It sits inside your Snowflake: you own it, it stays inside your account, and your team asks it natural questions. No scripts, no manual pulls.
- Ed Duckworth NoneSo we'd ask the brain: which clients are at risk, and why?
- Nell Ashcombe NoneExactly. And get an answer in seconds. You'd bring in a few people, Ed and an admin: we'd set up connectors to your systems, and four weeks later you're asking questions.
- Ravi Atherton NoneWhat's the cost?
- Nell Ashcombe NoneFor a team your size, we'd be looking at our Starter tier. Six thousand one-time for implementation, then nineteen thousand five hundred a year.
- Ed Duckworth NoneBefore we commit to numbers, I'd want to see it running on our actual data. Not a demo, but a real walkthrough with our situation.
- Nell Ashcombe NoneOf course. We'd pull a sample of your records: calls, clients, whatever, and show you how the brain answers your renewal question. Same query, just faster. When could you send that over?
- Ed Duckworth NoneThis week, probably. How much do you need?
- Nell Ashcombe NoneTwo or three weeks of calls, a client list, nothing sensitive. I'll send a note over with the spec. Then we'll have the demo to you by end of April.
- Ravi Atherton NoneAnd if that works, when would we go live?
- Nell Ashcombe NoneFour weeks from signing. So if we sign in May, you'd be asking the brain in June.
- Ed Duckworth NoneThat's reasonable. I'll get you those samples.
- Nell Ashcombe NoneBrilliant. I'll send the spec today. And let's grab a slot for the demo, early April, I'd say. I'll send over some dates.
- Ravi Atherton NoneCheers, Nell.
- Nell Ashcombe NoneCheers, both. Speak soon.
